Maredsous Tripel pouring into a lovely glass - on a canvas print
Never rush when pouring out any good ale, and this rule is particularly true of this Tripel from Maredsous, a Benedictine abbey near Denee. It is refermented in the bottle, after the addition of yeast and sugar, which results on a layer of yeasty residue on the bottom. When pouring, it is customary to resist tipping out this layer and to leave it in the bottle, so proceed slowly and carefully. Some fans may consume the yeasty part separately, but it is not recommended to cloud up your whole glass. Check out the rest of our online shop for more great Maredsous merchandise.
