Cuvee des Trolls with food - portrait on a canvas print
After a plethora of labels depicting monks, drunken patrons, dragons and gnomes, the producers of this beer decided to draw a troll on their new beer, first bottled in 2000. It was aimed at a younger drinker and has been very well received. It is an unfiltered beer so remains slightly cloudy and the addition of orange peel near the end of the fermentation adds a zesty note. This makes is very quaffable alongside seafood or chicken dishes.
