OMER. Traditional Blond - on a canvas print
A multi-award winning Belgian blond, OMER. is full bodied and fruity, and a respectable 8%.
Omer is a male forename, and the first Omer who brewed this beer in 1892 gave this appellation to his beers and his son. This habit was continued for a further three generations - rumoured to be in response to the intricate leaded stained glass windows the first Omer had made for the brewery being too expensive to replace. So instead of changing the glass, they simply stuck with the same family name ... which is still in use today for the brewery, its stylish windows, the beer bottles and the family owners.
